The Anxiety and Trauma Clinic is the responsible party for the website's current enquiry activities. Enquiries are managed from the ABA contact address in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ruth Machete is the registered Information Officer for these activities.

The Contact page allows you to send an enquiry through the website. The free-resource, community and workshop-interest forms collect the information shown on each form for the purpose you select.

This may include your name, email address, country, organisation, participant type, workshop preferences and practical enquiry information. Form submissions are delivered through protected website infrastructure and Google Workspace and recorded in an access-controlled ABA administration sheet.

Please avoid sending diagnoses, clinical histories or other confidential health information through a general website enquiry.

Personal information is not sold. Access is limited to authorised team members responsible for receiving, assigning and answering enquiries or administering the selected resource, community or workshop-interest purpose. Google Workspace, Google Apps Script and the website hosting service act as technical providers for secure transmission, email delivery and administration.

Email delivery and related technical processing may involve infrastructure outside South Africa. Appropriate access, security and service-provider controls apply to this processing.

WhatsApp is an external service. When you use it, information is also processed under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy arrangements, which may involve infrastructure outside South Africa.

The website uses a limited first-party measurement system to understand whether important public journeys work—for example, whether visitors reach the Contact, free-resource, community or workshop-interest pages and whether a form or direct-contact action succeeds.

For this purpose, the system records only the calendar date, a predefined event type, an approved page path, a broad enquiry or resource category, a broad referring-source category, a broad device category and, where relevant, a general success or error category. It does not record names, email addresses, telephone numbers, message or form contents, clinical or health information, exact location, full referring URLs, search terms, cookies, persistent identifiers, advertising profiles, device fingerprints, heatmaps or session recordings. ABA does not add IP addresses or user-agent strings to the analytics dataset.

Measurement events are sent through the website's protected server infrastructure to a separate access-controlled Google Sheet using Google Apps Script. Google and the website host may process standard technical connection information as part of providing and securing their services, including through infrastructure outside South Africa. The analytics sheet is not used for advertising and is not combined with enquiry records to identify visitors.

Event-level records are retained for no longer than 90 days. They are then deleted after non-identifying monthly totals have been prepared. Monthly aggregate totals may be retained for up to 24 months to compare website performance over time. Access is restricted to Dr Hanan Bushkin and, where necessary for privacy oversight, the registered Information Officer.

The proposed basis for this limited processing is the responsible party's legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the website and its enquiry pathways, balanced against visitors' privacy through strict data minimisation and the absence of persistent tracking. You may object to this processing or ask questions using the privacy contact details below.

Each enquiry is monitored until it has been answered, completed or securely deleted when it is no longer needed. Resource, community and workshop-interest records are reviewed periodically and retained only while reasonably required for the selected purpose, related administration and applicable legal or professional obligations.

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

You may ask whether ABA holds personal information about you and request access, correction or deletion where applicable. You may withdraw workshop interest, leave the community list, object to particular processing or ask that direct follow-up stop at any time.
